These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your membership and use of our services, benefits, and website. By becoming a member or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a membership with The American Associations, accessing our website, or utilizing any member benefits, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. About The American Associations

The American Associations is a national organization that has been serving Americans since 1989. Our mission is to help individuals live better on their existing income, strengthen their financial security, and work toward long-term financial independence through access to exclusive savings, discounts, insurance solutions, and financial resources.

3. Membership Eligibility

Membership is available to individuals who:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Reside in the United States
  • Provide accurate and complete information during enrollment
  • Agree to these Terms of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate membership at our discretion if eligibility requirements are not met or if Terms are violated.

4. Membership Plans and Fees

4.1 Membership Levels

The American Associations offers seven membership levels: Member, Preferred, Premier, Elite, Preferred Plus, Premier Plus, and Elite Plus. Each level is available in Individual or Family options.

Membership fees are as follows:

  • Member: Individual $29.95/month | Family $29.95/month
  • Preferred: Individual $39.95/month | Family $79.95/month
  • Premier: Individual $49.95/month | Family $89.95/month
  • Elite: Individual $59.95/month | Family $99.95/month
  • Preferred Plus: Individual $89.95/month | Family $129.95/month
  • Premier Plus: Individual $109.95/month | Family $149.95/month
  • Elite Plus: Individual $129.95/month | Family $169.95/month

4.2 Payment Terms

Membership fees are billed monthly on a recurring basis. By enrolling, you authorize The American Associations to charge your designated payment method each month until you cancel your membership.

4.3 Fee Changes

We reserve the right to modify membership fees with at least 30 days’ advance notice. Continued use of membership services after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the new rates.

5. Membership Benefits

5.1 Included Benefits

All membership levels include access to non-insurance benefits such as:

  • Emergency Assist services
  • Consumer discounts and store coupons
  • Travel savings (car rentals, hotels, cruises)
  • Telemedicine services
  • Identity protection resources
  • Financial tools and resources
  • Legal and tax assistance hotlines (select plans)
  • And additional partner discounts

5.2 Insurance Benefits

Preferred-level memberships and above include insurance coverage, which may include:

  • Group Term Life Insurance ($10,000–$30,000 depending on plan)
  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance ($5,000–$20,000)
  • Accidental Medical Expense (AME) Insurance ($5,000–$20,000)
  • Critical Illness (CI) Insurance ($5,000–$20,000)
  • Aetna Dental discount plan
  • Outlook Vision discount plan

Insurance benefits are subject to underwriting, eligibility requirements, and the terms of the applicable insurance policies provided by third-party carriers.

5.3 Third-Party Services

Many membership benefits are provided through partnerships with third-party companies. The American Associations is not responsible for the quality, availability, or performance of third-party services. Members must comply with the terms and conditions of each partner provider.

5.4 Benefit Modifications

We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue membership benefits at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify members of significant changes.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

6.1 Member-Initiated Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us via email, phone, or through your member account portal. Cancellations will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds will be issued for the month in which you cancel.

6.2 Association-Initiated Cancellation

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your membership if:

  • Payment fails or is declined
  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You provide false or misleading information
  • You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior

6.3 Refund Policy

Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion. Insurance claims are governed by the policies of the respective insurance carriers.

7. Member Responsibilities

As a member, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date contact and payment information
  • Use membership benefits for personal, non-commercial purposes only
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of third-party benefit providers
  • Not share, sell, or transfer your membership to others
  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your eligibility or contact information

8. Intellectual Property

All content on The American Associations website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of The American Associations or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 No Warranties

Membership benefits and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The American Associations, its officers, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your membership or use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to your membership shall not exceed the total amount of membership fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10.3 Third-Party Liability

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third-party service providers. Any disputes related to third-party benefits or services must be resolved directly with the provider.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The American Associations and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of membership benefits
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any fraudulent or illegal activity

12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

12.1 Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with The American Associations, please contact us first to attempt an informal resolution.

12.2 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your membership that cannot be resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
